Mnemonics

This work draws on the enduring mythological motif of the Three Graces, figures of classical antiquity that have long symbolized beauty, fertility, and joy across Western art history—from Roman sculpture to Botticelli and beyond. In this composition, their sculptural presence is recontextualized through vibrant, hyper-saturated digital overlays of botanical forms and synthetic color schemes that speak directly to contemporary aesthetics and media culture.
The past is not merely referenced here—it is fractured, layered, and activated. The ornamental digital “noise” becomes a metaphor for the way contemporary life filters and distorts inherited ideals. These Graces, while rooted in Greco-Roman visual language, are no longer untouched marble—they are participants in a dialogue with digital excess, environmental symbolism, and feminist reclamation.
